Dr. Stan Locker is a geological oceanographer with broad interests in the stratigraphic development of continental margins. Current research interests are focused on the development of Quaternary depositional systems in response to sea-level change, coastal evolution, and paleo landscape control on the distribution of marine resources such as mesophotic coral ecosystems and fish habitat. His expertise is in acoustics-based mapping and the geologic history of the West Florida Shelf.
