Our May 14th meeting took place at the USF College of Marine Science, both in-person and virtually.

We were joined by colleagues and collaborators from MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa Bay Estuary Program, Foundation for Healthy St. Pete, FL Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, USF College of Marine Science (Dean Frazer), NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science’s (NCCOS) Mussel Watch Program, along with our NOAA NCCOS Program Manager Felix Martinez. Participants engaged with Tampa Bay Surveillance staff, listening to Quarter 1 project happenings and sharing valuable feedback and insight to guide TBS research in the coming weeks, months, and years.

With their varied expertise and experience, MTAG members and collaborators are an integral piece of the TBS study. We are grateful for the network of researchers in the Tampa Bay area who have volunteered their time with us and look forward to more engaging discussions.
